Our Kitchen and Bath Fixtures Protection & Restoration Program
is designed to save the aggravation and expense of having your
tubs, showers or sinks damaged. Our protective product can be
applied at the plumbing supply warehouse or in the home, as
soon as the unit is set, whichever best suits the contractor’s
needs. A “Product Condition Report (PCR)” will be prepared,
documenting any damage present prior to application of the
protective coating. Restoration services for this existing damage
can be provided before protective coatings are applied, or after
removal, at the customer’s discretion. This will also allow you to
schedule any necessary repair – no surprises at final clean! Our
protection comes with a limited warranty against scratches, nicks
or surface wear if the coating is left in place until just prior to
delivery to your end consumer. Our protection will prevent normal
“wear and tear” type damage (scratches, scuffs, small blemishes)
but will not prevent all damage. Our warranty does not cover
cracks, breaks, gouges or punctures of the surface of the fixture
such as large or heavy objects that are dropped on a fixture; this
can still cause damage in spite of our best efforts. All trades
should be reminded that kitchen and bath fixtures are not a
storage space for their equipment (i.e. ladders, supplies). The
cost for repair for willful damage caused by misuse will be the
responsibility of the contractor.
Our application process leaves a 1” area clear on the flange for
drywall and tile work. We apply an approximately 6-8 millimeter
thick coating on the side walls, with added protection on the decks
and floor of the tub, the areas where most damage occurs. The
material is simply peeled off and discarded at final clean. A
cleaning instruction sheet will be applied to the fixture at time of
protection.
Cost for this service:
$90 per standard-sized hall tub or soaker tub
$105 per jetted tub
$135 for shower surrounds or one-piece bath/shower
combination units
$45 per standard-sized shower pan
